Seth Maisel (Education Director)
Seth earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Pomona College with a double-major in English Literature and Theater. Both majors focused on Shakespeare text and performance. He went on to earn his Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from Florida Atlantic University. He has been working as a professional actor and fight/stunt coordinator for over 15 years and is a certified Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors. Among the numerous shows he has choreographed or fight-captained, his favorites include Romeo and Juliet with Opera Colorado and The Three Musketeers with The Colorado Shakespeare Festival. He has performed numerous roles for Town Hall Arts Center and theaters all over the Front Range. Some of his favorite roles include playing over 20 characters as a clown in Town Hall’s production of The 39 Steps and Frederick von Frankenstein in Young Frankenstein (the musical) with Vintage. Seth was nominated for a Henry Award for best comedic actor in a supporting role and has won for Best Ensemble with The 39 Steps. He has won Marlowe awards for Best Comedic actor in a Supporting Role for The 39 Steps and Outstanding Actor in a Musical for Young Frankenstein. He been teaching and conducting children’s workshops for the past few years through Town Hall Arts Center’s Arts on the Move program.
LuAnn Buckstein (Director/Instructor)
LuAnn Buckstein has a B.A. in Theater. She has been involved in the arts for over 25 years. You may have seen her performing with the improvisational comedy groups Chicken Lips and Plastered in Paris. Or perhaps on Stage playing Ms. Hannigan in Annie, and Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn, in Music Man at Littleton Town Hall. She has also been teaching for 15 years, and loves it. She enjoys nurturing the boundless energy and creativity of her students. It’s always like a rollercoaster of delightful surprises.
Robert Michael Sanders (Director/Instructor)
Robert has worked successfully in the entertainment industry for over 25 years in theatre, film, music and television, and is so excited to bring his skills to Town Hall Arts Center.
Robert started out in music as a touring musician for 15 years with the group Silence, releasing 3 full CD’s and touring around the country as well as overseas. Robert released his last full solo CD “Feel it Coming” in 2006 which is still featured on ITunes.
Robert also produced CD’s and music videos for other groups and some credits include writing music for American Woman TV and Miami Ink, as well as being named to the Grammy list multiple times, incuding best new artist in 94 and producer of the year in 2007.
Robert continued to work in the industry as both a commercial actor and a talent agent. He created voice over programs in Colorado while completing several films and National commercials including regular roles on Animal Planet.
Robert has also been a full time instructor and theatre director for the City of Aurora, Town Hall Arts Center, Vintage Theatre, The Arvada Center, Ignite, Cherry Creek Theatre and the Aurora Fox, as well as doing work as a freelance private and corporate acting coach.
Some acting credits include a 2010 Marlow award for best Comedic Actor, in The Love List and best Kids Theater Director for Town Halls Little Mermaid and Seussical, Best Ensemble for Man Of LaMancha, Honk and Skin of Our Teeth. Some favorite roles and shows include I Love You You’re Perfect Now Change, Ragtime, The Cowardly Lion in Wizard of Oz, Sammy in The Wedding Singer, Dave in The Full Monty, Pedro in Man of LaMancha.

Susan Rahmsdorff (Costumer/Instructor)
Susan Rahmsdorff received her Bachelors of Arts in Music and Theatre Studies from Guilford College (Greensboro, NC) and her Masters in Music from the University of Kentucky (Lexington, KY). While in Kentucky, she toured for two years with the Schmidt Opera Outreach Program (SOOP), taking kid-friendly opera into schools across the Bluegrass. She has previously worked as a professional opera singer, voice teacher, actor, stagehand and costumer, occasionally all at the same time and is excited to join the teachers at Town Hall!
